Filaments and materials for bristles

Filaments and materials for bristles

Our filaments are available in four types of material, each of which extends into many variations:

  1. Vegetable filaments: sisal, tampico, bassine;
  2. Animal filaments: horsehair, tail or horse mane, goat beards hair, hairs from bull ears, pig bristles;
  3. Synthetic Filaments: Nylon, polyethylene, polypropene, PVC, diamond-charged nylon, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, ceramic, metal detecting iron with plastic filament detectable charged;
  4. Metallic filaments: Gold harmonic steel, stainless steel, bronze, brass, steel cable;
  5. Natural filaments: Cotton thread.

Each of these filaments can be made in customizable colors, diameters, hardnesses and corrugations.

    0.30 knurled green color – 0.20 knurled white transparent – 0.30 wavy black
    The wavy filaments create a very open tuft and will visually result in contact with a totally covering brush compared to the straight filament
    With the same diameter between the smooth and the corrugated, the wavy filament is softer
    Instead the knurled filament is a middle ground between the smooth filament and the wavy filament
    It is used when there is the need to create a more opaque brush but maintaining the rigidity of the smooth filament.

    Tampico natural fiber softer than the yellow shank
    to the touch it is rough, excellent for not electrostatically charging surfaces and has a good resistance to high temperatures (no direct flame).
    It is used in fact where the plastic filaments do not resist
    the metal filaments are even more resistant than tampico at high temperatures.
